The Next Project...

So, the robes are pretty much done (except for the occasional expansion), the sabers are all redone (ditto), and the site's got more skins that a...well, I'd best not say that...this is supposed to be pg-13. Anyway, lot's have asked: what is Muz working on these days?

The answer is a secret.

Well, not really, but since you guys (all twelve of you, yay!) cared enough to look here, I'll tell ya. It's a hand-to-hand combat guide, much like the lightsaber combat guide in layout, depth and scope. It's pretty spiffy...and is canon-only.

To be honest, I've been planning on doing this one for ages...since about when the lightsaber guide came out, really...It's just that things got kinda crazy, what with me becoming Herald and all that. I even sent out a sample section to the DC waaay back...like December of last year. Anyway, I've finally made enough headway on my other projects and am working on this beauty.

Helping me out this time are a few more people, selected for martial prowess or other needed skills. Macron and Shin have been helping take on the actual martial arts, and I've had Cyris Oscura (yay on getting QUA, btw!) do a little logo work for me, and I've got Erinyes helping on a few parts as well. It'll still require mad amounts of time to compile, pretty it up and organize it into a usable resource, but meh...I'm sure you guys will all love it.

As far as other projects go, Rax has the stormy armour...he just needs to code it in...he's been busy, so don't bug him too much...he's the only surviving codemonkey. I hear thems be endangered these days.

And I was getting set up for systems and fleet manuals, but they're on hold pending some disagreements as to a potential revamp that may or may not occur. But those will end up being immortalized in easy to reference, sexy, graphical PDFs. (I can hear you breathing heavy out there, Manesh. :D )...and yeah, while I'll have to update them 2-3 times a year (after every vendetta, likely), I don't want to have to do them from scratch 2-3 times the first iteration... so I'm going to wait and save myself the agony...besides, I got other stuff to work on.

The winner of the last blog's trivia was DJK Raven, who quickly found 'Eojin Quon-Shen' was Muz's Jedi Master. I've already talked to him about his custom robes...and boy, they are going to be sweet-looking.

Ever wonder what Antei looks like? I did that bit for the upcoming systems/fleet manuals...which turned out better than I had thought. The Dark Star is one of those things that doesn't really 'work' in reality..and is very hard to graphically define. But it looks pretty cool there, and not many people have complained.

In other news, they're holding another ACCLive! ladder. This time, all official-like with prizes and stuff. I'm debating signing up for it, to be honest... I genuinely like ACCLive because it's quick, fun, and I'm pretty good at it. Still don't know if I should sign up for this one or not...I've already had people whine a little bit at me about me possibly signing up.... plus there is the point that I won the last one, and the CHL, so I can probably get an ACC Armory item, if i wrote one up for Dalthid (provided I don't n00bcake all over it, naturally) if I wanted one or would even use it, anyway. Hmmm, maybe that's a good one for viewer participation. Anyone reading this, if you want to email me and try to convince me one way or the other on this can do so, and the first few will get secret points.

"Ack! Secret points! What's that?"

If I told you, it wouldn't exactly be secret, now would it? Let's just say, I'll keep track of them, and when you get enough (or i go public with the prizes) you'll get the option to have neat little things on your dossier. I have a pile of sweet stuff...unique items that may rock your world.

And that's all I have to say about that for now.
